A DAY TO REMEMBER

Ms. Jennysis Marie Rose Namit and Midn. Neiljohn Varnal

PMMS celebrates the natal day of our beloved Vice President for Administration and Finance, Madame Renigilda Nolasco, last August 1, 2009. Student organization and faculty members shared their talent as present for the birthday celebrator.

The Model Cadets of the 245th NROTC Unit ushered the first part which is the Arrival of Honors. The cadets executed different rifle salute and manual-of-arms. It was then followed by the Pass-in-Review of the troop and an exciting presentation of the Philippines Marines Drum and Bugle Corps. It was then followed by the dance number of the 245th NROTC Helmsman and finally the Silent Drill Exhibition from the Corps of Midshipmen Officer. A thanksgiving mass was held to give thanks and praise to our God for the long life, good health, and for all the blessing that our Vice President for Administration and Finance has been given to her throughout the years.

The last event for that day is the awaited festivity of the Foundation Day which is, for the first time, celebrated by the PMMS Las Piñas together with PMMS Manila. It was held at PMMS Las Piñas Multipurpose Hall at exactly 1400H. Mrs. Magdalena Corre , Dean of Studies, gave the welcome remarks .

There were  games such as  singing contest, calamansi relay, sock race, sock race, palosebo, eggplant and egg, pukpok palayok and pabitin. President and Chairman, Juan Nolasco III awarded the winners in cash.
